What time is check in?
Check in time is from 2pm until 6pm. If you are going to be later than 6pm we just ask that you contact us to let us know to expect you later. We do not accept check ins after 10:30pm. The last car ferry is 10pm.
Can I check in before 2pm?
Short answer NO. We understand that you are eager to get your holiday started or might have a wedding to go to, but we are a small team and we only have 4 hours per day to clean and attend to any maintenance in the units. This may seem like a lot of time but 4 hours across 16 units is not much at all. We have high standards and we cannot achieve those with guests checking in early.
What time is checkout?
Our standard checkout time is 10am. We do charge late fees for those who fail to checkout on time. As mentioned above, we value the 4 hours between guests.
What are your Reception hours?
We are available daily from 8:30am to 6pm. In emergencies there is a 24 hour phone number in your compendium for in house guests only.
Are you pet friendly?
No we are not. We understand your pets mean alot to you but we need to guarantee to our guests who suffer allergies that we are a pet free motel.
Do you provide daily servicing of the rooms?
We are happy to service your room on request during your stay with us. Please note servicing is not automated and will be performed only on request.
We offer standard room servicing and 3rd day room servicing for longer stays.
Located at the front of the building, on the left of the garage, we have glass, plastic and general bins available for your rubbish and recycling disposal.
Do you have parking?
We offer free limited availability parking in front of the Reception, one car per unit. There is parking available for those in the Apartments but height restrictions do apply. We also overlook the Village Green which has parking available for guests.
Do you have boat/jet ski/trailer parking?
Not any longer, sorry. With the addition of our new unit, we no longer have any spare parking space for boats and trailers. We are happy to advise you on possible locations around town for your boat or trailer. We do also have moorings available for boats to rent, leaving only your trailer for you to find a home for.
Do you have porta cots and highchairs available?
Yes we do, we have portacots and highchairs . When booking just mention what you require and we will have it set up in your room when you arrive.
What type of kitchen amenities do you have?
We have a standard kitchenette across all our units . This being a bar fridge/freezer, 2 ceramic cooktop and microwave (there is no cooktop in our new unit The Boat House sorry). We have glassware, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, utensils and the kitchen sink. We offer some Dilmah teas and ONE fair trade range of hot drinks. Upon arrival we start you off with a bottle of fresh milk.
Do you have hairdryers?
Yes all our bathrooms have a hairdryer and powerpoints in the bathroom for easy use.
Do you provide any bathroom amenities?
We offer a limited range of bathroom amenities from the Forest and Bird range. We have soap, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner.
Do you have smoke/vape areas?
No, all our rooms and outdoor areas are smoke/vape free.
Do you provide BBQ?
Unfortunately due to the poor use of our BBQ we are unable to provide this service anymore.
